A group exhibition featuring a selection of key works.
Our year-end show is a presentation of highlights from each of our exhibitions during 2003. This is an opportunity for a second-look at favorites
from the past year, for a second-chance to see works previously missed, and also to be inspired by new works.
The offering begins with small beaded works of the Ndebele, drawings by Liz Crossley and prints of Jürgen Schadeberg's famous photographs.
We have also acquired additional important works by Chéri Samba since the solo exhibition in September, both for Art Cologne and
this exhibition. In juxtaposition to Frédéric Bruly Bouabré's small format series of 18 drawings will be Owusu-Ankomah's
large canvases. Last but not least is a new lithograph series by Nelson Mandela.
Peter Herrmann will hold a speech at the Opening with details about the works on exhibition,
and news about the artists' participation in major events.
