Mariama Sylla Faye is a typical product of the Senegalese cinema. Since the age of 17, Mariama Sylla Faye has been attending the cinema circle thanks to her mother who worked at the cinema office. She discovered in the 70s, some films projected onto a white sheet by her mother in their family. In 1996 she worked as a director and producer until she set up her production company, Guiss Guiss Com, which has produced five films. Three other films are under production.
