Ines Ben Othman was born in Tunis in 1982. She studied stage design in Tunisia, first at the Ecole des Arts et des Métiers in Tunis, then at the Ecole Supérieure de l'Audiovisuel et du Cinéma (ESAC) in Gammarth. As a director, she has several short fiction and documentary films to her credit, as well as two feature-length documentaries.
