Interdisciplinary artist (with a focus on experimental aspects of photography, video /photography /light sculptures, sound and performance). His use of poetic, symbolic &/ surrealistic imagery often studded with paradoxes is seen by many as visual poetry and tends to question the obvious. Em?kal Eyongakpa?s interactive mixed media installations integrate elements of photography, video, drawing, painting sculpture, poetry and sound.
His work explores human conditioning over time in relation to information, ideological consumption as well as the ever existing freedom & the identity crisis.
