Italian film director, producer and trainer.

Daniele INCALCATERRA (Daniele Incalcaterra) is a director, producer and trainer (in Varan, Paris).

Born in Rome (Italy) in 1954, living in Switzerland and working very often in Latin America, he has made a number of documentary films. After studying at college in Moscow and then engineering in Buenos Aires, he became a professor of mathematics and physics. At the same time, he publishes his photographic work in various Argentinian magazines and editions and does photographic reports in various African countries.

In 1984-85 he trained in documentary cinema with the Ateliers Varan in Paris, then founded the production company "Voleur" in Paris. In 1993, he became responsible for various documentary film workshops including that of Fémis and in 2000 a member and trainer at Ateliers Varan. He was co-responsible with Catalina Villar of the Atelier Varan in Colombia and in charge of the Ateliers Varan in Portugal in 2004 and 2006. He supervised the Marseille internship in 2004, a number of workshops in Paris, as well as the workshop. in Recife, Brazil in 2016.
Along with Boris Lojkine, he manages Makongo Films, a production company.
