Mission
SANAD is the Development and Post-Production Fund of twofour54. SANAD provides talented filmmakers from the Arab world with meaningful support from within the region towards the development or completion of their narrative and documentary feature-length films.

SANAD seeks out bold and remarkable projects from both new and established filmmakers with the aim of encouraging intercultural dialogue and artistic innovation while building stronger networks within the region's film industry.

SANAD also offers year-round support and publicity for selected projects to help connect filmmakers to potential partners, funding opportunities and audiences.

Grants
SANAD has 500,000 USD at its disposal annually and makes grants in the following categories:
* Development: Up to 20,000 USD per project
* Post-production: Up to 60,000 USD per project

Application Period and Deadlines
There is one open call for applications each calendar year. Date is subject to change.

Films Supported by SANAD at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival
Each October, ADFF is committed to showing a large number of the projects supported by SANAD. Supported films may be selected for the Festival's Narrative, Documentary or Afaq Jadida Competitions, or for other non-competitive sections.

"سند" هو صندوق خاص لتمويل الإنتاجات السينمائية في مرحلتي التطوير وما بعد الإنتاج تابع لـ twofour54. يوفر الصندوق للسينمائيين العرب الموهوبين دعماً مادياً لتطوير أو إكمال أفلامهم الوثائقية أو الروائية الطويلة. ويقدّم منحاً مالية تبلغ قيمتها الإجمالية 500 ألف دولار، وتصل إلى 20،000 دولار أمريكي للمشروع الواحد في مرحلة التطوير، و60،000 دولار للمشروع الواحد في مرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج.

يبحث صندوق "سند" عن مشاريع جريئة ومميزة سواء لمخرجين جدد أو مخضرمين، وذلك بهدف تشجيع الحوار بين الثقافات والتجديد الفني والعمل في الوقت عينه على بناء شبكات تواصل متينة بين صنّاع السينما في المنطقة.
كما يقدم "سند" الدعم والترويج على مدار العام للمشاريع المختارة، بغية مساعدة صانعي الأفلام للتواصل مع شركاء محتملين، والحصول على مزيد من فرص التمويل والتواصل مع الجمهور.

المنح
تبلغ قيمة المساعدات الإجمالية التي يقدّمها "سند" 500,000 دولار أميركي سنوياً، تتوزّع على فئتين:
التطوير: 20,000 دولار أميركي كحدٍّ أقصى للمشروع الواحد
مراحل الإنتاج النهائية: 60,000 دولار أميركي كحدٍّ أقصى للمشروع الواحد
يحتفظ سند بحق تحديد قيمة المنحة الممنوحة لكل مستلم.
