This light-hearted series depicts the life of a multi-ethnic family in Quebec : Dominique, the father, is an immigrant Haitian, Chantal, his wife, is a "pure wool" Quebecois lawyer, and Ming, their little daughter, is an adopted Chinese. Narrated by Dominique, their sparkling adventures open up to such real problems as integration, men-women relationships and homosexuality in a highly original manner, mercilessly tracking down the clichés and the prejudices nurtured by all members of Quebecois society of both sexes and all nationalities.
