Rais Neza Boneza is a Congolese writer (1979). He is the author of fiction as well as non-fiction, poetry books and articles. He was born in the Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of Congo (Former Zaïre). He is the author of fiction as well as non-fiction, poetry books and articles. He is also an activist and peace practitioner. For his work for peace and conflict transformation, he received an Honorary doctorate degree (Doctor Honoris Causa] from the Institute of Management Sciences and the Universite du CEPROMEC in Burundi 2008. He hold a BA in Social Sciences and Master in Humanities from Derby University.
He is co-convener of TRANSCEND Global Network; a Peace Development Environment Network. He also uses his work to promote artistic expressions as a means to deal with conflicts and maintaining mental well-being, spiritual growth and healing.  He has travelled extensively in Africa and around the world as a lecturer, educator and consultant for various NGOs and institutions. His work is premised on Art, healing, solidarity, peace, conflict transformation and human dignity issues.  Mr. Raïs Neza Boneza work also as freelance journalist based in Trondheim, Norway.

His debut novel ""White Eldorado, Black Fever"(2013)" is the only work which has been originally translated from his French native language " "Eldorado blanc, Fievre Noire"(2013)". In his debut novel,   he taps in his artistic background, a peace researcher and practitioner to create a work of fiction and fact to bring in the awareness about the conflict-minerals direct effects to communities and simple individuals in the Great-Lakes region of Africa.
