Amel, wrongly accused, is released from prison after a case of adultery and prostitution. In the underworld of Tunis, she searches for her missing son Moumen. In the course of her journey, Amel comes face to face with a Tunisian society in free fall.

Amel works in a factory in Tunis. She lives with her alcoholic husband, Tahar, a former local football star, and their only son, Moumen, a talented football goalie. To convince the factory boss to provide a piston for her son, Amel betrays her colleagues who are on strike. Amel meets the piston: Adel, a businessman who takes advantage of the situation and abuses Amel. But the police arrest them, the scandal goes viral and Amel is accused of adultery. Released after a few months in prison, Amel searches for her son in the underworld and has to deal with a Tunisian society in free fall.
